Artist Bio:
Anna Vic Webb (b. 2001) explores her identity as a queer neurodivergent person by observing herself and painting the world around her. She graduated from the University of Central Florida with a BFA in Studio Arts with a focus in painting. She is currently a graduate student and plans to graduate from the University of Central Florida with an MFA in Emerging Media in the School of Art and Design in 2027.
Artist Statement:
My work focuses on intimate settings such as my bedroom to show my history through the symbolism found in the home and the figures that reside. Using the materiality of paint I convey my feelings of hypersensitivity to stimuli with my use of hue and brushwork.
