Mia hopes her stories will also teach the families and friends of people with special needs how to better understand and support them. Anticipating graduation in 2027, she dreams of joining a team of animators focused on producing media for children and young adults, while freelancing stories geared toward those with special needs. In the meantime, Mia strives to hone her craft and share it with those around her.
Artist Statement:
As an artist, I intend for my work to move my audience to reflect and inspire them to dream. In Florida, we are surrounded by stunning landscapes. From our beautiful beachside sunsets to the smallest dewdrops on a mangrove leaf, I believe there is beauty to be found anywhere, if we only look with new eyes. In the artworks I have presented, I focused on the subtle nature and blooming technology around us. I invite my audience to pause, soak it in, and enjoy it with the people closest to them.
